Scout is one of a group of four ponies who came to Casey's when they were "retired" from a pony ride facility after they could no longer perform the work that was expected of them. Scout is in his mid '30's and has been "pulling the wheel" and giving kids rides on his back for most of those years. Scout is SO ready for retirement. His needs are simple; green grass to graze on, hay to munch on, shelter from the elements and people to love him. Scout and Ernie (http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/xxxxxxxx) are a bonded pair, they MUST be adopted together. Scout had a crooked spine, and a very sore back and hips when he came to Casey's. He was a sad little pony, he could barely walk, and actually we were afraid he might not make it. We rubbed healing balm on his spine and hips, gave him equine laser therapy and showered him with love. And Scout got better!
